Welcome to the Online Application for the 2010 Central Carolina Adult Skating Classic (Non-Qualifying Eastern Adult Sectionals). Please take a moment to read the following information before continuing with the online application process.

If you'd like to register for the 2010 U.S. Eastern Adult Sectional Championships (Qualifying Competition), please do this directly through US Figure Skating at http://www.usfigureskating.org/event_details.asp?id=43367.

1. You can go to the 2010 Adult Skating Classic Page (look for the "Return to the 2010 Adult Skating Classic Page" link at the bottom of the online application pages) at any time during the online application process.
2. The Central Carolina Skating Club's Online Application Process accepts Paypal, check, or money order for payment.
   • If you choose to pay via check or money order, payment must be postmarked no later than Saturday, January 2, 2010. Those applications for which a payment is not postmarked by Saturday, January 2, 2010, will be assessed a late fee of $35.
   • With Paypal, you can pay with:
     • a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express),
     • an eCheck (an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money directly from your bank account; it's just like writing a check, only it is done electronically), or
     • an Instant Transfer (an automatic withdrawal of funds from your bank account to cover the cost of a purchase using PayPal when there are insufficient funds in your PayPal balance).

3. Before proceeding with the online application process, please make sure to have all the necessary information on hand:
   • Events you will be competing in
   • US Figure Skating Number
   • Highest Tests Passed as of 1/2/2010
   • Name of Home Club or Rink (Club representatives will be emailed to verify that the skater is in good standing with the club and US Figure Skating)
   
   
4. The online application process begins with the selection of events. The selected events will be put into an online shopping cart. To select an event, you choose the type of event:
   • Freeskating (Singles)
   • Pairs
   • Couples Dance
   • Solo Dance
   • Spins Only
   • Compulsory Moves
   • Jumps Only
   • Interpretive
   
   You will be provided with information about the events and have the option to "Add" an event to the list of events that a skater wants to compete in.
5. After selecting the events, you will proceed to a skater information page to confirm events selected and enter necessary skater information.
6. Part of the skater information includes two important forms ... the "Certification by Athlete" form (Form NQ-B) and the "Authorization and Consent for Medical Attention or Treatment" form (Form J).
7. The next step is to pay for the events using Paypal, check, or money order. Paypal automatically emails you an invoice. On this Paypal invoice, your $5 online discount will be deducted from the cost of your first event (instead of being a separate line item). If you choose to pay via Check or Money Order, please send in your payment as soon as possible. Payments must be postmarked by Saturday, January 2, 2010. You will be sent an email confirmation from the CCSC Online Competition System. Make sure to check all information for accuracy and to mail in any outstanding payments as soon as possible.
8. You can only register one skater at a time.
