2012 Central Carolina Skating Classic

This is the online application for the Central Carolina Skating Classic. If you are signing up for the Basic Skills portion of the Central Carolina Skating Classic, please use the Central Carolina Skating Classic - Basic Skills Application. Please take a moment to read the following information before continuing with the online application process.

1. You can go to the Competition Page (look for the "Return to the Central Carolina Skating Classic Page" link at the bottom of the online application pages) at any time during the online application process.
2. The Central Carolina Skating Club's Online Application Process accepts Paypal, check, cash, or money order for payment.
   • If you choose to pay via check, cash, or money order, payment must be postmarked no later than Monday, March 12, 2012. Those applications for which a payment was postmarked after Monday, March 12, 2012 will be assessed a late fee of $25.
   • With Paypal, you can pay with:
     • a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express),
     • an eCheck (an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money directly from your bank account; it's just like writing a check, only it is done electronically), or
     • an Instant Transfer (an automatic withdrawal of funds from your bank account to cover the cost of a purchase using PayPal when there are insufficient funds in your PayPal balance).

3. Before proceeding with the online application process, please make sure to have all the necessary information on hand:
   • Events you (or your child) will be competing in
   • US Figure Skating Number
   • Highest Test Passed as of 2/12/2012 for Freeskate, Moves in the Field, and Pairs (for those registering to compete in Pairs)
   • Coach's (or Coaches') Name and Email Address (Coaches will be emailed to verify events skater has signed up for.)
   • Name of Home Club or Rink (Club representatives will be emailed to verify that the skater is in good standing with the club and US Figure Skating)
   
   
4. The online application process begins with the selection of events. The selected events will be put into an online shopping cart. To select an event, you choose the type of event:
   • Free Skating
   • Test Track
   • Pairs Skating
   • Dance - Solo
   • Dance - Couple
   • Artistic
   • Spin Contest
   • Showcase
   • Compulsory Moves
   • Jumps Contest
   • Interpretive
   
   You will be provided with information about the events and have the option to "Add" an event to the list of events that a skater wants to compete in.
5. After selecting the events, you will proceed to a skater information page to confirm events selected and enter necessary skater information.
6. The final step is to pay for the events using Paypal, check, money order, cash, etc. Paypal automatically emails you an invoice. If you choose to pay via Check, Cash, Money Order, please send in your payment as soon as possible. Payments must be postmarked by Monday, March 12, 2012. You will be sent an email confirmation from the CCSC Online Competition System. Make sure to check all information for accuracy and to mail in any outstanding payments as soon as possible.
7. You can only register one skater at a time. If you have more than one skater to register, you will have to go through the registration process for each skater.
