The number keeps increasing for those that are eligible and have qualified for skater support ... more than half of the CCSC members. For those skaters that are eligible and have qualified for skater support that will be attending the 2008 Spring General Membership Meeting, you can receive a skater support check. Otherwise, all other skater support will be paid in June. CCSC has also supported two CCSC judges for their continued achievement as USFSA judges.
January 1, 2008
Over 50 members have qualified for CCSC Skater and Judge Support through Regional competitions or Test Sessions this year. This year has been a difficult year to predict financially, but the CCSC Board remains committed to its goal of encouraging achievement in the sport of figure skating. With the upcoming CCSC competitions in February and April, CCSC should be in a better position financially to determine the amount of skater support available.

Membership Fees Increased
June 7, 2007
CCSC is facing several increasing costs to its operation, including the membership fee increase from US Figure Skating (an incremental increase that started last year). Due to these increasing costs to our operations and our continued desire to keep providing financial skater support and quality events, CCSC is raising its membership fees. A new membership category has been added, Senior Couple. The Senior Couple consists of two senior members of the same family.
- Senior - $115.00
- Senior Couple - $175.00
- Family - $190.00
- Jr. with Parent - $160.00
- Introductory - $65.00

Skater support for 2007-2008 is under review currently. You can refer to the 2006-2007 Membership and Skater Support grids for a general idea of what types of skater support CCSC offers. Some of the items under review are when skater support checks will be issued, Synchronized Skating support for qualifying teams that advance to Nationals, and changes to rules for Pairs and Dance teams at the Juvenile and Intermediate levels going straight to Junior Nationals.
May 19, 2007
A big goal for CCSC is to increase our financial support to skaters and judges in our club. This year the Board has worked hard to find ways to do this. We are excited to announce that not only did we meet our goal for this year, but exceeded it by paying out at least $12,000 in financial support to our skaters and judges. Support has been given for those competing at Regionals (both Qualifying and Non-Qualifying), Junior Nationals, Adult Sectionals, Adult Nationals, the Classic (for those unable to attend a Regionals or Sectionals), and Synchro Sectionals. All members that test through CCSC test sessions receive 50% back on their test fees whether they pass or retry their test(s). This last year we also provided support through the significant lowering of Club Ice fees (one of the cheapest ice fees in the area for one of the most prime ice times!), giving free USFSA rulebooks, and setting up a support grid for our invaluable judges.

The downloadable Membership Grid was developed to better explain the different membership categories available to CCSC members. To find out more specifically about skater support, read the Skater Support page.
Membership Dues Increase
May 28, 2006
US Figure Skating has increased the membership fees for this upcoming membership period (2006-2007). CCSC is making the following adjustments to membership fees for the 2006-2007 year:
- Associate Member - $65.00
- Introductory - $50.00
- Jr. with Parent - $140.00
- Senior - $100.00
- Family - $170.00
- Basic Skills - $15.00
No More Junior Only Membership Category
December 7, 2005
On Tuesday, December 6, 2005, the CCSC Board voted to eliminate the category of Junior Membership from the membership options. The reason for eliminating this option was that the Junior had no representation for votes and was not eligible for monetary support from CCSC. The CCSC Board voted to make sure all home club Junior members had these opportunities.

They are D-ring 1.5 inch binders with the CCSC logo on the front. They can be purchased for $10.
