CCSC provides multiple opportunities throughout the year for CCSC members and other US Figure Skating members to take the official US Figure Skating tests.

• Deadline Changes for Test Session Applications
  The deadline for Test Sessions will now be 4 WEEKS before the test session. Due to changes in the way that we purchase ice at the Triangle SportsPlex, the club needs 4 weeks before a test session to plan for how much ice time is needed. Deadlines mean RECEIVED, not postmarked. We will continue to offer (and improve) our online test application which might help with the last-minute applications.
• Recognition of Test Achievement Report
  US Figure Skating will send a letter of test achievement directly to the principal of a skater’s school for the following test levels passed:
  • Moves in the Field Novice and above
  • Free Skating Novice and above
  • Pair Novice and above
  • Dance Completed Silver level and above
  • Free Dance Novice and above
  If you are interested in having this letter sent, you must email Amy Entwistle, CCSC Test Chair, and include the school’s name and address, principal’s name, skater’s name, member number and test level passed.
• Online Test Application
  We offered an online test application for the August 2007 Test Session. If you used it and have comments, please email the CCSC Webmaster.
• Test Application Revised
  On June 7, 2007, the CCSC Test Application was revised to take into account the changes in some of the test fees. These changes are in effect for the July 15, 2007, test session, so please be sure to use the revised CCSCTest Application or the Test Chair will have to contact you with any changes.
• Some Test Fees Increased
  CCSC is increasing the test fees for some of the Moves in the Field tests and Free Dance tests. Each test fee is carefully calculated taking into account the cost of ice, US Figure Skating test fees, the cost of the test pins and certificates, and other costs incurred while running a test session. Statistically, the moves in the field tests are particularly time consuming, as well as being the dominant type of test taken at each of the CCSC test sessions throughout the year. These test fee increases will be effective starting with the July 15, 2007, test session at the RecZone in Raleigh, NC. Please make sure to use the revised test application.
• Test Session Fees
  Starting with the July 2006 Test Session, members will be paying the entire cost for their tests when submitting their test application. Skaters that are full CCSC members (this includes Junior with Parent, Family, and Senior membership types) will receive 50% of their test fees (not to include late fees or other additional fees) back through Skater Support. Skater Support checks are issued when funds are available.
